Platinum Portions is the brain child of our founder/CEO Kerri Van Veenendaal. Kerri underwent grastric stapling in 2003 and then had to go under the knife again in 2009 and 2012. Over 12 years Kerri lost a whopping 60 kilos, but also lost the ability to enjoy dining out with her family.
Everytime they went to a restaurant she would order either a childs meal, which she could not eat, or just a soup. With the encouragement from the medical community Kerri started Platinum Portions to help connect those with restricted diets to restaurants catering for this clientelle. No longer do you have to pass on a diner date, or a luncheon, or business breakfast, simply use your Platinum Portions membership card at any restaurant listed on our site and you will be able to access a special Platinum Portions menu, designed to be a better size and easily digested.
